PEA values your relationship with its members, therefore we do not share or sell your personal information with outside vendors or agencies that want to sell products or services. We realize trust is at the heart of your relationship with PEA and your affiliate union/association.

This notice explains our privacy policy and demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest level of security, privacy, and confidentiality possible.

PEA is committed to protecting your privacy online and maintaining your expectation of trust while visiting our website. In some limited circumstances, we may be required to disclose information that is collected on our web sites. Those circumstances include requests from NEA, AFT, ACCESS and other pre-approved affiliate vendors and partners. These groups are required to protect your privacy and safeguard your personal information.

Personal Information You Choose to Provide: PEA does not collect personal information from members or website visitors except when a member decides to provide personal information on a voluntary basis. If you decide to share personal information, PEA only will share member information with the member’s local affiliate and other closely aligned groups, such as our national organizations, for the purpose of advancing an education campaign, professional development, member benefits, etc.

Over time we will want to communicate with you via e-mail to inform you about new features and content on, to request comments on certain issues, and to urge legislative action. You can always "opt out" of PEA’s online communications to your home e-mail account. By doing this you will discontinue unwanted emails. To do so, please go to the Contact Us tab in As your bargaining agent we will continue to send you bargaining communications to your work email account.

PEA may also choose to track information on specific site pages to determine which pages are being visited and used in order for PEA to make decisions about content and site usage. Please be aware that our site links to a number of other web sites. PEA cannot control and are not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of other outside web sites.
